Not to mention, Caballero called Gamboa out! Gamboa responded and said he would fight him.

I see nothing wrong with this fight being put together man.

And that guy he fought in his last fight..Rojas...had a draw with Chris John, and then later lost the rematch in a fight that looked a lot like Gamboa-Rojas. I think Gamboa performed better against Rojas than John did.

again, it's hard to look good when your oppoent is fighting a strictly defensive fight.

Caballero has the IBF and WBA belts now. I would say things have changed.
I believe JuanMa Lopez if he beats Penalosa is the ideal fight for El Pelenchin.

Winner would have 3 of the 4 belts.

Juanma-Pelechin would be a great fight indeed, but Caballero called out Gamboa. And Gamboa responded. Gamboa didn't push for this fight, which isn't even signed yet anyway they are just in discussions. Caballero wanted it...trouble making weight maybe?

Caballero just wants to fight. He calls out everyone and beats them in their backyards.

Sometimes he doesn't use his height and would rather brawl so he gets in trouble sometimes but when he does use his height he's great to watch.

And he will go to war with anyone.

He also called out Izzy, Marquez, you name it.

I am pretty sure he doesn't like fighting the Elvis Meija's and ****. He wants a big fight.

I doubt Caballero has weight trouble. Against Molitor he weighed in at 129 on fight night and 121 on the scales. For a dude almost 6 feet tall he's unreally skinny.

Gamboa takes him out in the 4th rd via ko. Caballero is tough and pretty quick but Gamboa will be too much

Gamboa better not go to war with him. Gamboa has been dropped by a lot lesser punchers than Caballero.

Cab can be hit though. I like this fight a lot too.

Its just that gamboa, have only fought Tomatoe cans, and the only guy, who wasnt a Tomatoe Can, ,made him look really bad, and the guy didnt even thrw punches.

I prefer hm to fight a Jorge Solis, or somebody like that, to see, if he can handle the big boys. And with him having a Khan type of chin, I dont want Caballero ruining a Star potential career.
I see what your saying. Although Gamboa has been down, I've never seen him really hurt or wobbly like Khan so I don't think his chin is that bad. But it does have a big question mark on it.

I think Gamboa has fought pretty good competition too. Not really good or world class fighters but I mean guys like Johhny Edwards (KO1), Darling Jimenez (UD 10), Al Seeger (KO1), Marcos Ramirez (KO2) can all fight as could Rojas in his last fight.

Gamboa only has 15 pro fights and his resume is very impressive to me. He's fought pretty good comp I think he could handle himself against Pelechin Caballero.

your entitled to your opinion though.

Well everyone else ignored him and Gamboa is actually looking to make him put his monety where his mouth is. I like that.

I would LOVE to see Gamboa clock Caballero. Something about Caballero fighting at such a low weight bothers me. I know, I know, Paul Williams and Tommy Hearns and yada yada.....but I just want to see him fight someone who can dish out some real firepower.

Caballero doesn't even get to 130 on fight night. He's a skinny dude.

Caballero earned his stripes fighting all over the world. Went to Thaliand to get his title against the hometown guy, Venezuela to defend it against the hometown guy, then Canada to grab the IBF title against the hometown guy.

Gamboa got mad skills but don't think if he gets dropped, it's gonna be that easy to get up. Cab knows how to close the show when he's got his man hurt.
