Gamboa reminds me of Ed Hopson, a quick footed-quick fisted feather champ in the '90s. Fast, but untested. Sadly, he only had one defense of his title. He had a suspect chin. Gamboa's chin is a bit suspect. I think he's been down twice. At least, he came back and won the fights where he was KD. Hopson never did. Another fighter that comes to mind, is Zab Judah. Quick but was cracked too early and never recovered. I hope this doesn't happen to Yuorkis, he is an impressive fighter.

I give him a chance with Caballero.

That's a major step up for Gamboa.

First Gamboa, Doesnt deserve a fight with Caballero.

Second Juana is ****ed, Marquez and Vazquez are pretty much, retire and if Caballero moves up, they will not be any more things to do for Juanma at 22, so I guess he will move to 126, before expected

why wouldn't gamboa be deserving of a fight with caballero? he has paid his dues in the ring in a short period of time i think what 2-3 yrs? climbed up through the ranks fairly.

He hasn't fought anyone worth a damn to earn a fight with Caballero. Don't get me wrong, I think Gamboa is very skillful but I think Celestino has unfinished business at 122 before he moves up.

Caballero, Should fight Juanma or Another Champ.

Gamboa, needs to win a belt altleast. And in his last fight, where he wasnt fighting a tomatoe can, he look like ass, even tho, his opponent didnt threw any punches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

e needs to prove he is worthy.

Nothng against the guy, he just havent done ****, yet!!!!!!!!!1

Gamboa just won a belt. An interm belt, but a belt nonetheless.

I don't see the problem from Gamboa's standpoint. Sure, be mad at the tall bean pole for leaving 122 and not taking care of business, but if he is moving UP to fight Gamboa, that's not Gamboa's fault, he's fighting for Gamboa's title not the other way around.

And Gamboa wants Chris John for the record, but obviously that fight cant be made right now since John has Rocky up next.
