Gamboa reminds me of Ed Hopson, a quick footed-quick fisted feather champ in the '90s. Fast, but untested. Sadly, he only had one defense of his title. He had a suspect chin. Gamboa's chin is a bit suspect. I think he's been down twice. At least, he came back and won the fights where he was KD. Hopson never did. Another fighter that comes to mind, is Zab Judah. Quick but was cracked too early and never recovered. I hope this doesn't happen to Yuorkis, he is an impressive fighter.
