Gamboa, needs to win a belt altleast. And in his last fight, where he wasnt fighting a tomatoe can, he look like ass, even tho, his opponent didnt threw any punches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

e needs to prove he is worthy.

If Caballero wins his next fight he could move up to 126 and face Gamboa. Man this is an interesting fight I wonder how Gamboa will deal with that 5'11 featherweight monster lol. Huge step up in class too, but I think Gamboa could beat him.

As pathetic as it is, Gamboa actually won a belt in his last fight, a world title. He didn't look to good because his opponent was just fighting a defensive fight, its easy to avoid damage when that's all your doing and not trying to fight back.

I think Gamboa deserved a big fight. Olympic gold, coming to America, winning all his pro fights, the guy deserves the fight. It's not like he's fighting Oscar De La Hoya for millions, it shouldn't be too too much for him to deserve a fight against Caballero.

People complain he needs to step up, well he's stepping up.

Caballero is one of my favorite fighters and Gamboa has gone down against a lot softer punchers.

He better be careful in there.

And that guy he fought in his last fight..Rojas...had a draw with Chris John, and then later lost the rematch in a fight that looked a lot like Gamboa-Rojas. I think Gamboa performed better against Rojas than John did.

again, it's hard to look good when your oppoent is fighting a strictly defensive fight.

Its just that gamboa, have only fought Tomatoe cans, and the only guy, who wasnt a Tomatoe Can, ,made him look really bad, and the guy didnt even thrw punches.

I prefer hm to fight a Jorge Solis, or somebody like that, to see, if he can handle the big boys. And with him having a Khan type of chin, I dont want Caballero ruining a Star potential career.
