And look what it did to Oscar. Floyd shouldn't budge much at all from 147. It's not like he shows up at 157+ like many other WW. When he was active at WW, he was showing up around 149 by fight-time...that's around the same weight many Jr.WW {140 division} show up for fight-time. 147 was the weight Pac showed up for Diaz by fight-time. Floyd just doesn't want to drain weight and I see no point. I also don't see much point in this fight either although I think it is obvious he is doing it to set-up a fight with Pac (if he wins against Hatton).

The lower the weight Floyd goes now the more he risks showing up "flat" and being taken out of his game both Mentally and Physically for training because he will start to worry about making weight.
Even Freddie Roach has mentioned that a "catch-weight" would be best for Pac to fight Floyd at because it will take something away from Floyd before the fight.

If Floyd wants Pac at 147, since Pac already fought there and dominated Oscar there, he shouldn't really do a catch-weight because Roach will want the same thing.

Who knows what the layoff will do to hinder Floyd fighting at a high level let alone the weight issue.

since we're off topic, i have a question:

Y is it so important that floyd fights a ww, when the more skill fighters are at 140? marquez said that he would make the jump following manny pacquiao, so hes fair game.
so plz give me something other than the usual "If you say you are the best at ww you should fight a top ww" bull****, because after-all floyd want to be the best p4p fighter in the sport. jmm and pac are the target in completing this mission
