Like I said, PRE DLH numbers don't matter. Pacquiao got much bigger BECAUSE of that fight. Before everyone knew he was a great fighter at 135 and below and now some people believe he can challenge fighters upto 147.

And trust me, I don't know how much finance news you dumb ***s read, but December was a very bad time to hold a PPV event to try and generate huge sales.

People and businesses were choked from funds and the last thing most people would have done is pay 50 bucks for a PPV event. Considering the extent of the financial crisis especially in Oct - Dec of 2008 that event could have easily generated close to 2 million if not for the timing.

floyd has had the bigger blockbuster ppv but it wasn't just him. fighting hatton and oscar helped too.

Pacquiao, FLoyd needs another Mega star to sell.

pacman has never been known to sell out arenas on his own.. he needed a morales or a de la hoya or a marquez.. just like mayweather had a gatti, or a hatton, or a de la hoya

Floyd kills it on PPV. Far better than pacman, and floyd has had less ppvs, hell, Pacman had a ppv before floyd did. People who say floyd needs a named opponent to draw just need to look at the david diaz numbers against pacman.

Being an american and being able to speak english well definitely gives floyd the edge over pac in selling pay per views in the U.S.
