Does Kessler even need a promoter. IF he insists on fighting Tomato cans his entire career, i don't think it matters.

Is that a recommendation for Mikkel Kessler?

Its clear that Kessler only wants big fights and his bum management team just want to bring in $$$

At this stage in his career Kessler should be pushing for dominance at 168. He needs to get a new promoter quickly. I personally feel he could beat almost anyone at 168 and even bulk up and have a go at 175.

At least Froch is going for it with his first defence against a A-class fighter like Taylor, you have to give some kudos for that.

imo if froch wants to step out of the shadow of calzaghe and be seen as a world class operator, if he wants to be mentioned in the same breath as other great british SMW champion's like benn, eubank, collins, and calzaghe then he needs to defeat mikkel.

as for joe promoting mikkel, it might work, fighters are attracted to other fighters who know what its like to be in the ring, know the game of boxing and how it works.

OTOH why wouldn't mikkel want to set up his own promotional company like winky and RJJ have done while fighting, iv heard one of his friends was thinking of acting as manager.
                you can say that again!

as someone pointed out cleverly does not train with enzo any more, nathan's dad trains him.

I was out with nathan on thursday and a soccer player (not well known Cardiff city) he has gone pretty big now. I'm 6ft and just under 12st stone so not that small really speaking.
