That fight was never close, and Tito only mildly looked like he belonged in there because Oscar allowed him. Period.

Then again, Oscar was catching Tito with some strong left hooks and right hands if i remember correctly.
I wonder what was going through his head those last 4 rounds.........

De La Hoya led on all judges' cards after eight rounds, but only narrowly. Then Oscar began to give ground, Trinidad closed the distance, and his pursuit evolved into a stalking. As Oscar faded, his circling turned into running and he put his back against the ropes more, where Trinidad pounded. After 10 it was even -- and Trinidad surged to take the championship rounds, like a true champion.
and Oscar duck Tito for the rematch
Oscar did duck him too...no debate on that!

I seriously don't see how oscar deserved or Won this fight.
de la hoya won 6 rounds. don't give me that bull**** that he swept the rounds.
the man that came to fight won.
i had it a draw though.

Even the rounds Oscar took off, Tito didn't do anything. I'll take owning for 6 rounds and than taking off over getting beat for 6 rounds and than doing nothing.

Just wanted to see how fellow boxing fans scored the fight. Please give reasons and rounds if you can to explain your reasons.
This is proberly the most controversial fight we've had in terms of scoring over the past decade.

After watching the Legendary Nights episode, I remember hearing Oscar drop an F-bomb when he was saying how many more punches he landed than Pito and thinking " Damn, I've never heard Oscar cuss before."

I have a feeling if you were told, your mind is already made up..so useless. Get over it!
If it was a street fight ...think about what would have happened.(case closed) Stick to racial issues and racism. Get over it!
I think these guys have nightmares over this..lol....Like Tito said...If the fight didnt live up to its expectations, it was not my fault I came to fight, he obviously didnt.Boxrec. says otherwise..get over it!
You can only begin to appreciate what Oscar was doing in the first 8 rounds if you really appreciate the sweet science of boxing. He was moving in and out, popping his jab and occasionally coming in and landing bombs on Trinidad. He boxed the perfect fight untill his mind went blank.
