Damn, is Arum trying to get Manny killed? Miguel Cotto would absolutely destroy Manny Pacquiao.

Pac doesn't deserve 60-40 now. Man it pisses me how this kid goes from getting 30% to trying to demand 60+. Get outta here.
I like him more than Floyd too, way more. But out of all those fights 50 50 is reasonably fair all round.

I don't understand why people think May deserves more than Pac
Pacman in an international icon. Mayweather was barely recognizable in his own country prior to De la Hoya. Lets get real here. Pacman's lists of accomplishments are greater and he brings it with his high motor.
As for Cotto/Pac. I actually would love to see the fight. Cotto while naturally a bit bigger is not all that big for Pac. Pac came into the DLH fight at like 150, Cotto typically enters at around 154-156. Pac's conditioning is superhuman, he has the best nutrionists, trainers and experts on his team than probably anybody bar Hopkins in the game. Either way, in the Cotto/Pac fight, someone is going to sleep and its going to be fireworks through out the contest.
Pac/Mayweather just isn't appealing. Mayweather and his safety first approach while great for hardcore afficionados just doesn't turn on the crowds. He needed DLH's fans to sell out and he need Hatton's fans to sell out. Against Pac, it'll be Pac's fans that sell out.
I'd venture to say that Cotto has much more US based support than Mayweather. Cotto/Margarito did like 500K buys I think, if not more. And that's without a world tour, no 24/7 no nothing. Mayweather nor Pac without DLH ever came close to that without being headlined by bigger attractions.
Should be very interesting in the end. Lastly...I truly thing this leads to a 2010 blockbuster of Cotto vs Mayweather
If Cotto squeaks by Clottey and Pac gets by Hatton, then they can square off while May can battle Juan Manuel. Cotto beats Pac (which is no sure thing) and May beats JMM (which is no sure thing as well) and we have the dream match we've all wanted

the thing is that cottos contract expires now..
and hes using that as a weapon agaisnt arum!!
hes telling arum.. either u get me a fight with pac.. which is gonna represent for him his biggest payday.. and a chance to beat the current p4p king. or im out...... its a win win situation for cotto.. so i dont see why he shouldnt go for it..
so... if your question is... that if im ok with hum pursuing pac after clottey...
Yes. im ok with that.
cotto is a big star.... and he deserve to get a big payday! just like hatton, mayweather and pac.
with that being said. i think is a missmatch... and cotto overwelms him.
