The advantage of having someone move up to meet you at your weight class might be evident in many cases. But Pac did not move up to meet Oscar at his weight class. h moved up to WW and fought OScar at a weight class Oscar hadn't fought at in over 7 years. Now if Pac would have said F it Oscar I will fight you at 154 the way Floyd did and If pac wanted to come in at say 147 or 148 and let Oscar come in at his 154 and baloon up to say 160-162 on fight night and whipped Oscar the way he did that night then that would be the case of Pac jumping up to anotehr mans weight class and I would have said that Oscar had every advantage that night and got beat. Fact is Pac won but he did not meet Oscar at Oscar weight class. To me that fought at a catch weight for the both of them which was 147. This was a bad move for Oscar i said it from the beginning either way for him it was lose lose sitation....Lefty

hahaha....funny there! coz manny fought in a weight he never fought his entire life, not just 7 or 10 years. and 95% of people in the world(dont ask for my source..hehe) said b4 the fut that "it was a very bad move for manny"...he can get killed! everything else is history...written, signed, sealed and delivered to archives.

But its irrelevant, Roach saw an oppurtunity to weaken Oscar and it played out beautifully

I just hope Roach doesn't try to get Floyd /Cotto down to 140 if they fight Pacquiao
and why nutz?! don't u know that manny started at 106 lbs,...as against floyd 130(?) and miguel's 140(?)....again, WHY NUTZ!?!
isn't it asking too much from a brave diminutive but not ****** man named manny??

I myself didnt think Manny would be killed like everyone else did and I am not against Manny. I personally think or thought he would do very well and it would be a good fight. i never thought he would dominate the way he did I will be honest and say that. I just think it is easier for a 29-30 year old to move up two weight classes then it is for a 35+ year old to move down 1 or 2 weight classes. Your body is younger and it adjusts easier. It is natural as a fighter gets older to see him increase in weight classes not decrease. That is fact signed sealed and delivered to the truth not fiction or some bull ish archives....Lefty

another fact is that manny moved TEN (10) DIVISIONS UP, not just 2 since he first fought as a pro, 106 - 147 . that is another exciting aspect about the Pacman, aside from his style in the ring.....and modesty outside of it.

Don't you see the incoming irony though?

95% of people thought ODLH would win against Pac, and look what happened.

85-90% of people think Pac will win against Hatton. You know what's coming next..

Pacman is a great fighter he moved from 106lbs to 147lbs over a ten year span. Nothing taken away from Pac you have alot to be proud of. That being said you are still missing the point....Lefty

Point made an taken I said it was a lose -lose situation for Oscar from the time they announced the fight. Hatton is the real deal at 140. This time Manny is fighting another top quality fighter at his best weight. manny is also fighting at a weight he has never fought at 140 and if manny wins this one it will be even more amazing and I will be more shocked then when he drubbed Oscar last December....Lefty

styles make fights, Oscar didn't defeat him because he couldn't catch him and it will only have been worse if he were weighing a little more for Oscar because Manny would have been even much more faster. what won it for Manny is how he was able to slightly jerk his head to the side then cold **** him with a straight right. this is the way Oscar fights, he's always open for it. at 147 10 years ago is the only way I give Oscar a chance, the absolute latest is when he fought Vargas but anytime after Pacman would have had him for lunch. it's the styles that made the fights, Oscar didn't dare initiate because he had no response for that straight right every other second, it wasn't a matter of being too slow to block the shot he just simply didn't see the shots making the blows more devastating causing him to ball up in times he would normally swing, that's not weight drained that's called being thoroughly defeated worse than ever in your entire life... real talk

exactly, styles make fights and dlh has problems against speed and southpaws.

E=mc˛ ;where E is energy, M is mass and C is the speed of light raised to the power of 2, manny has all of these ingredients, i hope this solves the debate, what's the use of mass say if you're on your regular weight but you don't have speed..

Choose the correct formula accdg to einstein..

                      a. DLH: E=m
                      b. Hatton: E=mc
                      c. Pacman: E=mc˛
