why? because he beat kelly pavlik? kelly pavlik is not that good. what makes pavlik so good? because he beat taylor? what makes taylor so good? because he beat hopkins? it's just a circle jerk.

Pavlik isnt technically great at all, but he is effective and he can follow a gameplan, taylor couldn't that's why he lost, Holt couldn't a few weeks ago, thats why he lost, some fighters can stick to it, some can't.
You get naturally talented fighters that aren't great at the basics and get beat by lesser talented fighters, the ability to think under pressure, stick to a plan and be good at boxing basics shouldn't be underestimated.
Pavlik, Kessler et al, these guys are good at the bread and butter of boxing (Kessler for sure), they aint flashy, but they can get it done.Comment
