one retired undefeated... the other one retired as the lone holder of titles in 6 different weights & one of the biggest moneymakers in the history of this sport...

who has had the better career in terms of accomplishments? the greater resume?

De la Hoya easily.He has had a great career and has revolutionised the way fighters can earn.Good luck to him,fishnets and all!

De La Hoya. 10 world championships in 6 different weight division. It's a good debate though. It all depends on what you like. If you like stiff comp and a lot of risks, De La Hoya clearly. If you like title defences and an unblemished record, Calzaghe's your guy.
