Agreed did get a bit side tracked by a pretentious last word freak by having the nerve to not agree that Bruno was the Shavers of his era. 2 average fighters, both chinny, both can dig a bit, sure could go either way theoretically. But if Klit is in condition and up for it then Bruno has no realistic chance IMO. I have never seen any evidence that Bruno could overcome a motivated opponent or indeed even knock him down. Assuming Klit wants to hold onto his title then I can't see that he wouldn't. No chance either way it is going to go the distance so Klit by stoppage around 6th round.

I think your being harsh about the Le Doux fight it was just a step up fight that's it, it was not a title eliminator and the reason Le Doux was picked was because he had faced a lot of top fighters but was not that great, i remember watching his fight against Holmes and he was no worse against Holmes than he was against Bruno even if he hadn't trained so hard. Bruno had been a pro for just over 12 months do you think they were going to put him in with a top contender if you do that's ******.
Bruno doesn't have a great record but why take the piss he tried his best and was able to win a title which is a great achievement for a guy that didn't have great natural talent he should be proud of what he was able to achieve and people should give him more respect.Comment

Yeah i am not saying that, i am saying he was defending against Mike, anyway he may have been scared but he at least put up an effort he did actually land some good punches in that first round he did better than Spinks, Berbick Williams, Seldon etc.Comment

Agreed, was a bit harsh and yes Le Doux was an opponent. It wasn't me that said Le Doux was a contender. My problem is that Bruno seemed to only have tune up fights or title shots. But he got a title out of it and I paid my hard earned money and cheered him on that night and was proud of him. My main point has been, that to say he was one of the hardest hitting heavyweights or greatest punchers of all time is based on no real evidence. IMO Bruno was a solid technician, probably a little too text book and so predictable. He could dig a bit was a bit chinny without the nous to know how to cover up when hurt. Brave guy a nice guy? Yes big time.I think your being harsh about the Le Doux fight it was just a step up fight that's it, it was not a title eliminator and the reason Le Doux was picked was because he had faced a lot of top fighters but was not that great, i remember watching his fight against Holmes and he was no worse against Holmes than he was against Bruno even if he hadn't trained so hard. A trier for sure probably say you could rate Bruno's dedication up there with the greats but not his punching power.Comment
