BTW folks, I saw Bruno a few months back. Amazing to compare him with, say, the somewhat portly Lennox Lewis; he looks like he could step back into the ring tomorrow and give the likes of Arreola and Haye a run for their money despite pushing 50 now.
Bruno always looked in magnificent nick must have been a fantastic trainer. Not 100%sure that the chiselled look helped him might have done the wrong work with weights?

Why do you think he went straight for Tyson? I'll tell you why, cos any of the other contenders out there would have KO'd his ass out the ring and Bruno would not have made the big PPV from Iron Mike. Look at the end of the McCall fight, he was done, hanging on for dear life. Druggy McCall had to KO Bruno to get a draw that night at Wembley. Fact is, Bruno's so called best displays were losses, and when he was hit he turned into a robot: Jumbo, Smith, Witherspoon all proved that way before Tyson got near him.

It's laughable that so many here think a B class fighter like Bruno is fit to share a ring with Klitschko.

Would agree that he was handing on for dear life against McCall and would also say that his 2 best performances were the early rounds against Lewis and Bonecrusher both fights he lost. Would say B class for Bruno is fair, though not been that impressed with Klitschko so far.
I'm kind of viewing it as 2 chinny fighters who can both dig a bit and whoever lands decently 1st would win.
I'm kind of leaning towards Klitschko but more based on Bruno's weaknesses rather than his strengths to be honest.

I don't think Wlad is anywhere near as glass chinned as Bruno. Yes, Wlad learned a harsh lesson from Sanders, but Sanders is the type of guy Bruno avoided throughout his career: a devastating puncher. Bruno ducked Greg Page, never mind the likes of Tommy Morrison, Ray Mercer, Moorer, Tubbs, Foreman. He was even terrified of Gary Mason and consequently never held the British title during that fighters long tenure. Wlad has never ducked anybody, as a contender or a champion, and he's dominated his era. Bruno couldn't even dominate the UK scene.

As i've already said, these 2 are so so similar & the voting confirms this..

                  Both have good jabs
                  Both have a KO punch
Both are in excellent physical shape
                  Both have dodgy chins

I went for Bruno on quality of opposition only.. Good match up! Got people thinking...

I won't be ridiculous & say 'reincarnation' because that would be the wrong tense..

But Klitschko could covincingly pass as 'The white Bruno'

I don't know about Bruno ducking people, the poet put a long list of contenders he beat lol.
Read the thread back you are pushing at an open door.
Like I said I'm going with Klitschko on this one but do have major reservations about him.

I love the White Bruno line
You are a Brit arn't you? Whats your position on the "contenders" Bruno faced? Bodies or legitimate contenders?
I had the nerve to argue with the poet wow what was I thinking?
