WIlliams #5 at MW by The Ring Magazine WTF?

Can anyone here, explain WTF the Ring is doing lately.

They have Pacquiao #5 at WW, Williams #2 at SWW(WTF?), They have Williams #5 at MW.

They also have Rolando reyes #4 at LW and they have Khan #10 at LW(WTF?)

They have Jose Lopez ranked #7 at FLyW, but he is the WBO super Fly Champ

They Have caballero, hatton and Rafa marquez but, now, Cotto or PW(whom they have ranled in the top 10 in 2 divisions)

Can anyone explain me WTF, they are doing, and in what thet base their Rankings.

Dont get me wrong, there rankings are better than almost anybody, but why this BS rankings sometimes?

The MW division sucks, and he has the best win out of anyone in the MW division since Pavlik beat Taylor. I think having him at #5 is in the MW division is ok.

Williams at #2 in the JMW division doesn't make much sense though. Kirkland's resume at JMW trumps Pauls...same with Sergio's.

And the P4P ratings are a little whack in my opinion, but P4P lists are SO subjective.

I dunno about Williams being ranked in 2 divisions, but as far as MWs go he should be ranked #2 only behind established stars Pavlik (Champion) & Abraham (#1)....... Williams would beat the likes of Mundine, Sturm, & Sylvester.

Why are you complaining about Williams being second at Jr MW? He beat Phillips who was ranked second at the time.

Divisional Rankings arent the same as P4P ranking (which are based in large part on resumes) since the guys can actually fight one another, and there are many more common opponents and common opponents of opponents.

Williams proved he was a viable JMW when he easily got by Phillips, and they can go on conjecture after that, plus they have his fights in the division immediatly under, and the division immediatly over, to base his potential prospects in the JMW division on.

Only delima with Williams is picking a single division to rank him in since he hasnt fought a consectuative fight in one since he left WW.

But if havent done that yet. You got to beat people to be ranked.

Just because you might beat them, doesnt mean you should be ranked higher than them, basing your opinion on assuming!!!!!!!!

In fact I'm quite surprised that the Ring Magazine would rank Khoren Gevor above Paul Williams. I think it's justified though since Gevor is coming off an impressive KO win over Finnish contender Amin Asikainen.
