If Floyd wants to fight at 147, why not just fight a WW?

I'd say 140 would be an advantage to JMM

Floyd would be inactive and fighting at a weight he hasn't made in 5 years ( see how that worked for Oscar )

    What's wrong with 143

What would you say about that?
so what if JMM called out floyd? cant he express interest in that fight? nacho beristain said that if it doesent work out, it doesent work out, and that they move their interest to other fights. so whats the biggie?

you have to respect JMM. other small fighters would jump at the chance with floyd for the money, but JMM wants to go into the fight with an actual chance at either winning, or at least looking good in the fight.

yea i'd agree with that. mexican/mexican-american fans dont even hate floyd they just ignore him because we just find his style flat out boring and call him a ***** lol. there is very little interest in his fights. now Pac vs Marquez III would be huge among mexicans because not only are they exciting but its another shot at vengeance against pac!

JMM has had only 2 fights at 135 and none at 140. How is this an advantage for JMM?

If according to Floydboyz, Floyd isnt a legite WW, So whats the problem with him fighting at 140? Should they make a special weight class for Floyd? Lets call it the Maywelter weight division, and only Floyd can fight there, and demand other fighters meet him there.

The answer is simple. Cuz Floyd is a higest reward lowest risk kinda guy. he's also SCARED. He says all these things to make him look like a badass but he doesn't challenge himself any more. All he is interested in is making the easiest fight for the most money. He disrespects boxing and boxing fans
(except the ones with his picture on their wall).

              LOL.... Which is it?
I don't think he's too small for that division. I don't put much into weight. I think height and reach are the only measurements that should matter in boxing and mayweather is comparable to the fighters in his division in that category just as JMM's height and reach are comparable to floyd's.

Floyd moved up to fight DLH

Manny moved up to fight DLH

Floyd is one of the top 3 draws in the sport and is the best name you could have on your resume, JMM could make major money and be known as the guy that beat Floyd Mayweather Jr

He'd be ****** to let this fight slip away

This sums it up right here. Why not challenge a legit WW? He is looking for an easy way to make a buck and not fight someone in the correct weight class because his pretty face might get scratched.

                      you silly goose.

floyd is the best fighter on the planet and the best mexican fighter on the planet would be stepping in to the ring with him and you're saying they wouldn't care? of course they would. it would easily be the highest ppv numbers of JMM's career. I wouldn't be surprised if they reached 1 mill.
