If guys like u are claiming that Floyd is too small for WW, then why are u defending his decision for the fight to take place there? If he's too small for WW, then the next weight-class down is 140. At that weight, it would be about who's the better fighter. There could be no excuse for weights.

floyd fights for money and thats it. JMM is p4p#2 so that win will put mayweather on the p4p list again which would make for a better build up for his fight between pacquiao-hatton winner.

also, that fight will generate a lot of interest from mexican americans because they would want revenge for the dlh-mayweather fight.

jmm come fight night weighing between 140 - 142 and floyd coming at 148 - 150 isnt such a huge deal to me really , should floyd come down to at least a catch weight of 142 ish ? sure he should just so people could stfu and to make things more " fair " in outsiders eyes. but really i could care less seeing as clottey comes in to fight guys that are by fight time are usually 15 - 10 lbs lighter than him also.
