If Floyd wants to fight at 147, why not just fight a WW?

I can't see why it matters if its a tune-up fight to be honest...

Manny has proven he can make 147 with no problem and can still perform at a high level.

If Manny and Floyd fight, it has to be at 147.
Only fair? Marquez jumping 2 weight-classes to face mayweather is "fair" LOL. Go back to bed! This is an advantage for Floyd, how can this be "fair"

Fair would be both fighters sacrificing a little to get this great fight signed. So far, its only Marquez who is doing the sacrificing.

It's a tune-up for Floyd. Not for Marquez.

This is still undecided. Roach went on the record after the Oscar bout and said that Pac will not fight at 147 again. This can all change though. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Those 7 pounds make a huge difference. 147 is a good weight for Floyd to fight in. What did he fight Hatton in? 140 or 147? Hatton was Floyd's last fight no?

                  You're missing my point.

If you want Floyd at his best, fight him at 147. Obviously Marquez is making an issue that he can't make 147, so thus he shouldn't take the fight. I've been telling people for a while now that Floyd is a legit WW, he's not coming down to 143, 140, etc. Pac proved he can make 147 and fight just as good. There's no point to go down in weight just to give one fighter a chance. I have no doubt they make the fight at 147 with Pac and Floyd if it comes about.

At 147, Floyd will be at his best, while Marquez wont. How is this fair again?

What i dont understand is, he's looking for a tune-up for future WW fights according to his fanboyz, yet he's looking at LW's as tuneups for a future WW bout. How does this make sense?

If fighting in the WW division is Floyd's plan, but at the same time, has no intentions of facing any WW's, whats the point?
