How does beating a fighter who is moving up a bad win for some?

He had two fights at 130... and then he was a 135 pounder. In fact, he started at 135.would you say De La Hoya was a Super Featherweight because that is the divisio he started in? NO.. at least Marvin Hagler fought dudes who moved up ONE division or TWO..
Bernard Hopkins fought DLH (who as stated earlier, started his career @ Super Featherweight) That's pretty pathetic.
Duran had like 60 fights at LW, right?
Yeah, uhhhh, I'm not really sure how you can make such a huge deal about one guy on Hopkins's resume if your favorite fought Duran. I don't care that you already said that was not good for Hagler... you clearly aren't making as big of a deal out of itas you are the Hopkins-DLH fight.Comment

But you have to take into account what those guys did for the rest of their careers. Cant really say that most of those guys didnt belong in the ring with him. They all went on to stay competetive at that weight or higher. Maybe not all but you get the point.Comment
