Middleweight is not a "happening" division right now. It hasn't been for a while.

But just because it's not jampacked with star power (when was it ever?) and big names, doesn't mean that Kelly is "all hype" and "nothing special".

He fought his way up the rankings, and beat some pretty good contenders and ranked opponets to get his shot.

Saying he's all hype because he's white is not very intelligent.

TKO's Glen Johnson who also knocked out Roy jones, dont forget that. And has 20 title defenses from the mid 90's- till Taylor. I swear all of yall haven't watch Hopkins fight in the late 90's against Johnson, Echols, Mercado, Allen, etc. He was a ****in beast, and let his hands go way more then he does right now. He is more of a defensive wizard, and it show how he was able to adapt to his age as time went on. 99 B-Hop TKO's most MW in history.

He's had 10 less pro fights than Bernard has, and has 1 more defeat than Bernard does. Against guys who were smaller than him (Shane, Floyd, Manny).
