    The rest were just too much by Williams. He missed a lot, he landed a lot... that's what happens when you through 300,000 punches in a 12 round fight.

      Winky's defense is deceptive both ways. Sometimes he gets too much credit. Look at his face even early on. Just because he partially blocks the punches doesn't mean they dont have an impact. In this case I thought a lot of Williams punches got through. When lamps and co. were talking about Winky blocking most of the punches early on, I was befuddled.

        No problems. I think the above arguably applies to some of the other rounds as well because some of them were close.

        If I see Winky catching 5 shots on gloves, then landing a clean hook to the ribs, i got winky with the advantage because he landed that one clean shot. I cant just give it to williams because he threw 5 shots.

          Calzaghe threw more and landed that straight left that cut Jones but Jones blocked a whole lot. Still, Calzaghe won due to his workrate and Jones' "inactivity".
