Calzaghe would be the bigger man plus he throws just as much as pwill, however i would predict a close fight either way- pauls chin would stand up to joes punches, and his workrate would keep him in the fight

I dont know if he throws as much, williams put out what 1060 or so punches against wright. I dont think calzaghe has been breaking 1000. Anyone know some of his numbers from the last few fights?

985 for Jones. Can't remember the number for Hopkins, maybe 700 and something. He did say he was gonna cut his output for that fight, though. Lacy 1006, Kess 1010.

You have to put in the equation that Paul Williams punches actually look like punches, while the things Joe Calzaghe throws could be debated. Calzaghe would beat Williams though, he is just to big for him.

But the best I've been inside the ring with was Joe Calzaghe in sparring. Beforehand, I thought he was quite boring to watch and looked as if he slapped but, **** me, he punches hard. If he slapped, Bernard Hopkins would've stood toe-to-toe with Joe, but he [Hopkins] got on his bike, didn't he? If Joe and Nigel [Benn] had fought, I think Joe would have been able to take the pain and would've ended up hurting Nigel, bit like Michael Watson did.
