No way Zaghe can win. Jesus people don't fking get what Zaghe really is. I'm sure if the web existed back then Marciano would win every poll to beat Holmes but yet he retired before fighting anyone half decent. There, have your hero but know this. No one cept Marciano and Calzaghe EVER got away with being "great" on wins over old men. This is true racism, this **** makes me mad, the fact that these crackers got away with this. Young men like Williams or Chad Dawson ALREADY have resumes riviling with Calzaghe's yet they aren't even on the top of the p4p ranks. The black man gotta FLY to get something the white man can walk to. Calzaghe great? Great MY ASS!

Err close? Sure he's not too hard to hit (but he used to be much easier of a target, progress!) and just by seeing how Calzaghe was tagged and dropped by 43 year old Bernard Hopkins and 40 year old Jones i can see Williams KOing him!!!!!!
Williams has never been a power puncher. Zaghe got dropped at light heavyweight by big men. Williams is a welterweight.

I'm actually staggered that this question is even being asked, much less that people seem to actually think that Williams has even a hope of a prayer.

Williams would have height, reach and maybe power?
          Power!? Are you for real?

What????? 40 year old Jones and Bernard Hopkins were hitting him clean!!! And DROPPING HIM. Imagine what 800 punches will do to him. He's not a good chin you know? Did you take a good look at defense master Winky after the fight?? Joe can't go 5 rounds with Williams! True story!
OK now I'm going to assume that you're simply taking the piss.

Williams couldn't beat anyone in the top ten at super middle or light heavy. He couldn't beat anyone in the top ten at middleweight if it wasn't for the fact that the middleweight division is so shockingly awful at the moment.

All you people are giving Paul all this credit for beating a 37 yr old man who hasn't fought in almost 2 yrs. When he beats a guy like Arthur Abraham then i'll give the credit he deserves. Till then he's nobody.

Calzaghe would beat Williams, would be a high workrate fight though, could end up smashing Compubox records, with both of them throwing 100 punches a round.

Calzaghe would win a pretty easy decision at 175 if he came out of retirement. I doubt Joe can make 168 anymore.

It's amazing the amount of credit PW is getting for beating a 37 year old after a 2 year layoff yet JC gets nothing but hate for beating Eubank, Hopkins and Jones for being "old or past prime" which is what the majority here would be saying if Joe beat Winky. It would be nothing but a million excuses...

I think you like most Joe drones are completely overstated the case but you are right.

There is nothing right now that tells me Paul would win. Joe would figure him out and outhustle and outsize him. Paul wouldn't hurt Joe unless Joe got old fast.

But we don't know Paul's potential yet either to say he could or couldn't do anything at these higher weights.

I agree with Stewart: I want to see him in with heavier handed fighters now at this weight to truly test him.

                      This thread is a fail.
