Christ... I knew it. Khan will be bigging up Kotelnik next, you can bank on it. And this is after he talked **** about Kotelnik and said he was the current worst world champion. I wonder if he wishes he hadn't said that.

"People will ask why we’ve done this when Amir has just beaten Marco Antonio Barrera to become WBO No 1 at lightweight. But WBO champion Juan Manuel Marquez has big fights lined up and I didn’t want Amir sitting around having to wait. Amir’s at his best when he’s involved in a meaningful fight, and facing a genuine world champion in a new weight division will be a real test," Warren said.

Amir doesn't seem to think it will be a test. He isn't ready for Marquez anyway, and has been clear on this. Warren's so full of crap!

"The Ukrainian has never been on the floor or stopped, and his two losses have been narrow, debatable ones at championship level against Junior Witter and Souleymane M’Baye. He is probably best remembered here for stopping the undefeated Gavin Rees last Easter to win his WBA world title, and he’s made two defences since then. Believe me, he’s a live one."

    OK, Frank, we believe you.

            Huh?

Aside from a shaky chin, Khan has some very special qualities about him, notably his hand speed and combination punching. He has good power too.

Yes, he's overrated in the sense when people claim he's the second coming of Jesus Christ, but if you think he's nothing but a hypejob, you clearly haven't seen enough of the guy. He's going to have a long and successful career.

This is a wise move for team Khan. He's got plenty to gain here fighting kotelnik for a JWW belt. Why would somebody insinuate that khan is avoiding JMM when in fact Amir stepped up his level. Silly remarks, heh.. Amir's critics will now see how he will be tested rightly in this fyt. good move FWarren....

I remember watching Kotelnik fight M'Baye and i wasn't that impressed even though i thought he won, The only reason they are taking this fight is because they think its an easy route to get a belt even after Khan called Kotelnik the worst world champion, its a smart move by Warren but i would rather Khan face someone like Ali Funeka or Katsidis.

A lot of people dont rate Khan so i dont think calling him a hypejob at 22 is right, Someone like hatton qualifies more as a hypejob than anyone esle in the UK.
