Boxer v.s. MMA fighter in a street fight.

dont know, anything can happen. a top, world class boxer can definitely beat up an mma fighter if the fight is left standing yet if the mma manages gets the boxer down, the boxer is in trouble. thats pretty much the way it is.

if you've got the speed of pacman, and the ko power of tyson then yeah. they wont have a chance cos it'll be done with one punch. chances are you wont last very long if the dude specializes in mui thai, knows the ground game and takedowns.

edit: don't get me wrong though, a boxer CAN use some boxing tactics to help him **** up any fighter on the street. but if i were in a street fight... i'd NEVER revert to pure boxing, or intentionally box.

Boxer. Easily. 90% of most street fights are won by first punch landed. It is seen as a ***** move to wrestle and try and **** someone on the floor.

Depends who the boxer is. Any rich boxer will have alot of freinds there to join in. If it is strictly 1 on 1 the boxer would probably get his ass kicked at least 80% of the time.

When i street fight i always box, first thing i do is take my shirt off wherever i am so my oponent cant grab me.I have not ever though an mma fighter alough mostly every fight my oponent has been 28lbs or so heavier then me ie bouncers nd they try nd grab, even try to catch my punch lots off stuff they try but never manage to grabb or hold me yet lol.Boxer just got to counter attack or in and out and mma will be cut to pieces.They cant box that well.Boxer will always win in stand up combat and it is unfair to wrestle where i am from.Outside with ya shirt off, fair fight is where you get the respect.Also if in a corner no room to move around then thats what uppercut, hook is for! or single bodyshot to chest always worked for me.
