The MMA fighter is much - MUCH - more skilled in boxing than the boxer is at any sort of grappling.

MMA is too general a term it depends on the fighters specialty. My homeboy is a very accomplished kickboxer maybe not world class but hes won his share of tournaments and just got out of the pen and said he lost almost every fight. In the streets hes dangerous if he has room to land kicks and move around but in a small enclosed area he got beat about 75% of the time. And he was getting beat my people with only street fighting experience so it all depends.
