Roy Jones the farud

Maybe Roy was always better and maybe he wasn't...What we know for sure though is Hopkins got 100 times better later in his career than when he fought Roy. You dont know this for sure and neither do i. Roy never fought the elite peaked fighters Hopkins did for you to know this 100% and that my friend is another fact.
Roy was always better. The better fighter wins. Roy always had better savy. Roys downfall was when he got older and lost his legs and blazing hand speed. At 35-36 many people could beat Roy, I dont deny that, but in his from34 and down, he was unbeatable.
You say he ducked Lennox, how crazy is that. He didn't belong there. Lennox out weighed him by almost 75 pounds and thats when Roy gained all that weight. Hes a ***** for not fighting lennox. The standards Roy set for himself are held to him becasue of his greatness. You would never say Toney, or Hopkins, or Calzaghe dodged Lennox, becasue the thought of them fighting a man like that could never enter your mind. The fact that you think Roy should of fought him says everything. No matter if you hate him or not, you still respect him as the best ever, and it shows because you set the highest standards for him to prove himself. U dont' ask the same of any other fighter.
Roy never fought Lewis because he never belonged there? What the **** was he doing up there then? He held a stap yet you're saying he never belonged there. More BS, you've not made one good point yet.
PS
Roy had said that he'd love to fight Lewis and he'd love to fight Tyson.
I love the way you just rubbished his HW victory though, well done i give you props for that

Jones' accomplishments are underrated IMO, I believe he's beaten over 20 past titlist or champion from middleweight to heavyweight, he fought some tomato cans in between but it shouldn't take away from what he has accomplished because everyone has tomato cans on their records.Comment

Bernards fights in jail consisted of two men standing on two rolled out sheets in the middle of a gym slugging it out, where taking a back step was viewed as being a coward. That is not boxing my friend that is brawling. You learn nothing about boxing being in brawls.
Being in Jail has probably helped Nard to be the fighter is today...Mentally though.Comment

Not belonging there is my point. He didn't belong in that division but becasue he was so dominant at his natural weight divisions, the only place for a challenge was in heavy weight, where he didn't belong When your not a heavyweight, if you beat a heavyweight no matter if he is the best or the 10th best, its a big deal. Otherwise everyone would be doing it. I have yet to see any other middleweights or super middlewieghts or light heavy weights dominate a top 5 heavy weight. Holler at me when someone gives up 40 pounds to a heavyweight and dominates him. Roy aint nothing so go hold your breath till it happens.Comment
