I'd like to see Barrios-Casamayor actually, but if one of them fought Valero I wouldn't complain.
Personally I much prefer the sound of Casamayor. I don't think Barrios would make it out of the first 2 rounds. He got his face destroyed when Rocky Juarez knocked him down and out, and even his sparring partners broke his jaw, which is why he was off the card against Hernandez. I'd hate to think what Valero could do.

Has anyone really seen this guy fight? I have.6 times. He's stiff. No head movement and he's a one punch guy. Easy pickings for a good fighter. Marquez would pick him apart. So would juan Diaz casamayor and any other good lightweight. He hasn't been tested. And before he can get a huge fight he needs to fight a lightweight and not a bartender.believe me when I say he's not ready to fight boxer punchers. He's just ready for jcc jr opponents. Hand picked trash.

I wouldnt be so sure about that. Guzman is a bit ****y, and steps in and trades with guys he could be out boxing. Stepping in and trading with Valero is a bad idea for a guy without much pop, but you know he would. I could see Guzman doing very well, then getting caught in a couple of exchanges and losing his momentum in the fight.

Easy pickings is a bit of a stretch. I think some people over rating him is causing others to under rate him. Remember Aaron Pryor liked to leave his chin up in the air. The truth is he really might be something, he might get KOed against a really legit opponent, he might not.

Why won't Bob Arum match Valero against Urbano Antillon? I would rather see Antillon than some bums out there. Although some say Antillon lost to Valero in sparring a few years ago, he's improved by leaps and bounds. That would be a better match-up and will gladly cough up for that one...

I agree on Valero fighting on reg- Tv. Unless Latin Fury card's are stacked, I don't buy em. But Valero against a Miguel Angel Huerta or a Javier Jauregui, two guys who have an ridiculous ability to spoil fights, would be good. I just want to see Valero in there with a guy that's gonna force him to move and punch somewhat. I really don't want to see Valero end up like all the Colombian fighters who eventually get schooled.
