But he's still a top contender who beat the **** out of Katsidis, another power puncher with no defense. Pitalua is not better then Casamayor imo.
santa cruz should've beat casamayold 118-110 or some ****...

pitalua outboxed him for 3 rounds then Knocked him the **** out in the 4th......

I say make Valero-Jorge Barrios happen they already have some bad blood. Would be an easy win for Valero against a somewhat known opponent. Valero isn't going to get a big name opponent to step in with him by July. Don't expect a great opponent.

The Ring had him at #7.

But I have no idea why. I'm not saying that because he was beaten, I was saying it before the fight. Pitalua's only decent win in recent years was against Santa Cruz. And Santa Cruz was also over-rated - his only decent performance was against Casamayor on one of Casamayor's worst, most lethargic performances of his entire career.

Most of Pitalua's recent opponents make Valero's opponents look like Hall of Famers in comparison. One of Pitalua's recent opponents has a record of 0-1-0. How pathetic is that?

Barrios is finished...beating him dont prove nothing, this guy lost to that piece of crap Juarez.
Fight Soto, Funeka, Katsidis, J.Diaz or Casa.

so i guess there are no mandatory challengers or no top 10 list of opponenets for this guy to fight.......ask Kasatidis if he wants a title chance, ask Juan diazx if he's interested before you say no one wishes to fight......
