But given that they're the second worst from a rankings point of view, and on top of that they are creating a complete mess with their super duper champs, I think the WBA is the worst overall.

The IBF sent a letter to Top Rank [promoters of Clottey and Cotto] on March 30, which gave them and Branco Milenkovic, promoter for Hlatshwayo, until April 30 to reach a deal or the fight will head to a purse bid. Cotto will eventually get that vacated title aswell. Especially if he loses to clottey!

Arum could have easily made this before the mandatory date of feb 4th. What's funnier is they know the date they have to make the mandatory and still ignore it and do nothing. Don't blame the IBF for this ****! Ask clottey why he hasn't fought in over 7 months!
True..but they had Cintron..but that Pooosy chickened out and picked Martinez..who else was there??..

so what!, If it was a unification bout then it would imply that the winner was elite and I dont believe that is the case with either of these fighters

Do you mean who was the IBF's top contender at that time? Or do you mean what other big names were there? Because the whole point is that a champion does not wait until he can get a big name. If he doesn't want to be stripped he has to fight whoever the sanctioning body's top contender is, within a reasonable timescale; and he didn't.

But worse still, Arum screwed up by not applying to the IBF for the unification to be given precedence until it was already too late.

This is bull****, the corrupt IBF is full of bitches and they are being bought by the South Africans. Kermit Cintron was the mandatory and had a deal to fight Clottey, but chose to fight Martinez. That should automatically extend any mandatory period there was. Hlatswayo got a draw in the eliminator against Rodriguez and hasn't fought since; how the **** does he deserve a mandatory title shot? How the **** does Isaac and his team have enough leverage to put pressure on a mandatory situation? Crooked corrupt ****** ass IBF bitches.

                    The IBF is bull****.

Clottey wasn't fighting this whole time, but they decide to strip him NOW?

It's also Clottey's fault for just sitting around.
