Not a chance... the WBA is clearly the worst with their dual world champions (ordinary and super) and their affinity for giving bad decisions to their terrible champions so they can keep their worthless belt (Valuev).

The WBO is actually kind of tight, even though it's the newcomer. It's super champion status is something you have to work for, but it doesn't create a new belt, it just gives the champion a bigger split for mandatory fights, which is a pretty good idea IMO.

I didn't have many criticisms with the IBF until this welterweight business started happening with Margarito getting stripped and now them threatening to strip Clottey if he fights the 100% superior opponent. This guy got a ****ing draw with Delvin Rodriguez... he is not worth of a title shot at this point.

The WBC pisses me off with their ****** emiretus champion status... how lame is that. I mean, it obviously worked out for the best considering Vitali steamrolled Peter, but... that was a title shot given to a guy who had been away for 5 years that could have gone into a unification with Wladimir. Just because Vitali beat Peter doesn't mean it was the best course of action... I'm of the opinion that pretty much everyone beats Peter considering how he lost to an inactive Chambers.

The WBO is actually the belt that I have the least amount of criticism with.

The relationship between the battered boxer Miguel Cotto and his uncle and trainer Evangelista Cotto finally reached its boiling point.

This response has been red flagged for laughability. In other words the poster has limited knowledge of Clottey's background.

I don't agree with the guy 100%, but you shouldn't compare their big fight experiences. Cotto's big fight experiences easily trumps Clottey's, by a lot. Do you really consider Clottey's Judah and Margarito big fights? You're gonna compare packed houses at MSG and MGM to a LV ballroom against Judah and Cotto's undercard in Puerto Rico where nobody gave a **** about him?

Not only the crowds at the fights, but the hype surrounding it beforehand. Clottey barely got any attention from the media until before the Judah fight and it wasn't even a fourth as much media/fan hype as Cotto had for the Mosley fight and only a sixteenth of the Margarito fight.

Cotto does have stronger hands and he does have better punching power, numbers don't lie and Clottey's hands are reportedly fragile, but he does have good power not so so. And Cotto has somewhat of a home court advantage, but it only really comes into play with the judges.
