I see Cotto putting on a great performance against a really good (not great) WW in Clottey.
I think most of the people who think Cotto is going to lose either want him to lose or are basing it off his loss to Margarito. Cotto has very accurate punching and he's more loose on his feet than Clottey. Clottey is not going to chase Cotto at all, it ain't his style. Even in the Zab fight Clottey was pretty stationary and capitalized on Zab's mistakes. Cotto's become a seasoned veteran and knows how to handle adversity.
I got Cotto on points, but I also can't throw the notion out that he can take Clottey out. Its not impossible.Comment

after fighting and surviving the literal version of the "Hands of Stone",.. Cotto probably feels like he could handle anything,.. this one is too close to call, I like Clottey if he's busy..Comment

Clottey has speed and accuracy but is not a strong puncher. His last few fights shows that. He doesn't have the leg movement to give Cotto problems. He does have a good chin and stamina. I hope his hands hold up cause he is prong to injury. His peek a boo style is not a good match-up against Cotto. We will see where Cotto's head is if Clottey can stay strong thru out the fight. cotto better work on his defense for the overhand right and the uppercut, and also on his stamina or his pacing.

Ive been 50/50 on this for a while but after watching alot of Cotto and Clottey fights i just dont see Clottey winning this at all. I think Cotto is gonna touch him in ways hes never been touched before and ultimately break him down. It might even look like the Lovemore or Mosley fight.Comment

True to an extent..But the same can be said about the opponents he faces...Shane looked visibly frustrated in that fight and he couldnt hurt Cotto from what i saw. Mosley even admitted to being stunned and buzzed by Cotto..
And as for Margarito..Well i dont even think i need to speak on that at this point.Comment
