There were body opportunities abound, and Valero seemed to just be programmed to throw 50 punches at the head, in the hopes of landing 5.

so what, pitalua was done anyway.......no danger whatsoever and headshots look cooler to the crowd.....

I saw a second round ko. And I have seen many before.
I've wanted him to fight Pac for at least two years. I've wanted to see Pac against a pure puncher for years.

Yeah, he has flaws but let's see them against the best.

      Gotta love a puncher.
It's very hard to be critical of a 2nd round ko.

I think the best will beat him right now, but there is big danger for anyone early if he catches them.

It's natural to overrate a puncher I think.

Lame, overrated whatever you want to called him this man is the ko machine we all wishing for hopefully hes the next big thing. Its that some times as fans we get a lil bit excited when these kind of boxers come along .Not every one has his kind of record or knockout power it doesnt matter if his a bum or not as long as he keeps doing what his doing we with it!! **** all that sweet science i want to see some one get KTFo and we will praise the man even more if hes able to do that to the top dogs of the division like for example JMM,Pacman,Casamayor,Juan Diaz,Katsidis etc!!So for now its just hype so lets cross our fingers and hope hes the real thing and the next thing popping!!!

usually I would agree, but there have been people hyping this guy for awhile. Long before he ever deserved it.

Everybody thought Miranda was doing a great job until it became apparent to even the biggest bonehead posting in this forum that he was lacking in basic boxing skills. There are opponents who will punish you for your sins. Just because you get away with it for awhile doesn't mean the day of reckoning will not come.

Because he was beating people up and quite good pros in the gyms of Southern Cali. And just like that... he caught on.

Then the MRI stuff derailed him, but now he's back.

There are a lot of stories about him handling excellent pro fighters in the gym before he fought anyone.

                Hence, the hype.

I mean defense is lacking in him but as of NOW he's doing a damn good job. If he gets KO'd or whatever then yeah. It was good while it lasted though.

miranda wasnt nearly as gifted as valero......he didnt lay dudes out in 1 round, he didnt KO 2 top 5 ranked contenders, he didnt win 2 belts in 2 weight classeS, valero is much more proven and his power-speed combination make him a very dangerous opponent......

I don't know anything about Valero other than it's the name of a gas station down the street from my house. But a 27 year old undefeated kid with 25 fights and 25 KOs is something worth looking into.

                      Where's he from? Venezuela?
