    Are those elite?

And if Delahoya/Hatton are such ****ty opponents, remind me why Pacquiao is fighting them 2 years later.

Do YOU think Hatton/Chico are elite? i feel sorry for you if you do.

Tell me something, if Hatton and Chico are elite then how come they dont stack up well against other great fighters of their respective natural weight classes, because i can think of quite a few 140lbs that would wax Hatton.

Compared to other great fighters of his era his resume is poor.
Way to expose yourself as a hypocrite. They were the best fighters in his division he fought them then you just say.......... o well this guy from this decade would kick his ass........... You already said he had great fighters to fight aka Shane,Cotto and Williams then again you can just say if Floyd beats them........o well they are B fighters Sugar Ray Robinson, Hagler and Ray Leonard would have put them in pine boxes.

Corrales, Castillo, g.Hernandez and De la Hoya are great fighters point blank period. Last post i make on this thread because there is no point saying the same **** to someone too full of hate and ignorance to understand. Have a good day sir.

Neither deserve criticism from all the pathetic haters on here

But since Mayweather is greater than Calzaghe, i'd have to say Calzaghe

I'm not saying his resume is full of Durans and Leonards, but to say he has only B-class fighters on his resume is ridiculous IMO. There is a large, large gap between B class and ATGs.

I would also point out that it is easy to look back and say a guy was B-class at the completion of his career, without giving sufficient though to the timeline of their career. Go back in time and ask any boxing expert if Corrales was B class on the night Mayweather fought him. Chico was considered an out and out beast at that point and that was pretty much a pick 'em fight.

Are you going to tell me that Hatton wasn't elite at 140? or Castillo at 135? or De La Hoya at 154? These guys were the top, top fighters in their weight classes when Mayweather fought them, that is the bottom line. Were they all ATGs? Of course not. It doesn't make them B-level fighters though.

I dont understand the first part just rambling with no commonsense.

Give me an example of an elite LW whom Castillo is capable of beating, because let me tell you something Castillo would look foolish against Whitaker it would be a white wash, and he would get KTFO against Shane Mosley. Reason is because he is not elite.

If he was such a great LW then how come its so clear that he could not handle other great LW of yester year. The dude did not beat Casamayor imo, and he got destroyed by Hatton.

What is "elite"? If Floyd fights Duran or Benitez TODAY, are they "elite"? You can only beat the best OF YOUR TIME.

Was Kostya Tszyu "elite"? Has Sugar Shane Mosley ever beaten an "elite"?

Were Trinidad and Delahoya "elite" middleweights? Is Winky an "elite" LHW? Is pavlik and "elite" LHW? Who is the better opponent: Hatton at 147 or Delahoya at 160?

Don't feel sorry for anyone but yourself, sweetie. Think about what you are saying.

FYI: Hatton, Castillo and Chico ruled their divisions. True story.

Tell me Shane's resume at LW. Please.

BTW, castillo was smoke by the time he fought hatton. You SHOULD know that.

Okay lets forget labeling them B class, because your interpretation seems more derogatory than mine. B class by estimation is still very very good its just shy of elite in my context. Its not a cheap shot.

Let say he has not beaten a "elite" fighter. Chico/Corrales are very good fighters, but im sure you will conceed they are not elite fighters.

Im not just talking about ATG fighters. Shane Mosley might not be considered an ATG by some fans, But im sure most would pick him to take Chico, and Corrales out regardless. Different level imo.

"Go back in time and ask any boxing expert if Corrales was B class on the night Mayweather fought him"

Why? that would just tell me how they were overrating his credentials at that particular time, because they knew less about his credentials. i could go back and see where Lacy was rated pre Calzaghe, but what would that prove?
