    Go figure
    thats priceless.

calzaghe hardly ever fought in wales and hopkins' defences at middleweight are hardly amazing, why didn't he move up to fight jones? infact what did hopkins's resume look like when he was the same age as calzaghe (37) ?. hopkins left the usa twice and his record is 1-0-1.

theres a reason hopkins skipped 168 for 175.

Goes to show what a bad joke you really are.

Hopkins and RJJ had the infamous argument, where Hopkins told him to face him, if they wanted, at catch weight. But RJJ kept making excuses, saying he wanted more money etc.

Dude, Whether Hopkins left the US or not is not the case.
Fact is, wherever the Main guys are, challengers go to face THEM.

RJJ and Hopkins are both Americans hence their bouts took place there.

Just like Klitschko is making Haye face him in Germany, because Wlad is the champ. Only difference is, Haye is not a a fraud like calzaghe, and when he says he wants the title shot, he actually does it. Whereas Joe just made excuses, staying in Europe facing mediocre opposition.

I mean it's like saying the current WBO SMW Champ "Balszay" saying to the p4p best to come to Hungary or wherever he is from to face him. I mean why would anyone do that?

        a) He is a nobody
        b) No Money
        c) Better options.

Same case with Calzaghe when he "wanted" to face RJJ and Hopkins. Damn.. Even with Glen Jonhson he pulled out TWICE due to "Hand Injuries". Which is nonsense as Frank Warren pointed out once he was sacked.

Why would he move up to fight him when he already fought him way before he even had the title dummy. Fighting prime Jones by the way is 10x better then anything Calzaghe ever did so technically Hopkins resume before he was champ is better then Calzaghe's whole career.

                you didnt asnwer my question.

what did hopkins' resume look like at 36? if calzaghe can make money in the uk why should he have to go to america to fight, he was the MAN at 168 like klitschko is at heavyweight, he makes haye come to germany. joe could make people come to the UK.

funny hopkins pulled out of a fight with joe back in 2001, the *****.

Damn, i knew Aussies were dumb, but you take the biscuit son.

Bernard Hopkins became established as an elite boxer in 2001, once he beat Trinidad and unified the MW division.

Calzaghe has never been an elite boxer. It took him 10 years, yes, a whole friggin decade to unify the worst division in Boxing. Then finally made the move to the states to face RJJ and Hopkins once they were at the combined age of 83.

As for pulling out, listen son, YOU have not answered the question. in 2001, Calzaghe was a nobody. He held a lame belt in the worst division. There is a reason nobody could be bothered with him, it's because he is a nobody, and nobody is going to go Wales, to face someone with a pathetic belt, in a pathetic division.

I mean who is going to go to Hungary to face Balzay (or whereever he is from) to take his belt in the lame SMW division. Where Balzay is in the same position as Calzaghe was for half his career.

Don't flatter yourself mate, Sorry, but joe is a fraud.
