He is one of the best fighters of his era.

He just uses every single tool to win even if it dirty abit but he is one of the smartiest fighter around.

He knows the play physcological, ring tactics, uses his tool pretty well.

I'd love to see Bernard lace em up one more time but if he doesn't it'd be cool.

At this point its really up to Hopkins, he has fought the best at every weight class he has campaigned in, beaten the best, came back from defeat twice in spectacular fashion, and is by far the most accomplished of his generation, a future hall of famer, and bonafide legend. If he chooses to call it a day that would be great, but I would love to see him school Adamek win one more liner title before calling it a career.

Yea i think this is the perfect time for Hopkins to retire! He accomplished everything that you can imagine in the ring and going out by taking Pavlik to school is a great way to go out! I wasnt his biggest fan because man he could bore you with the best of them but i cant hate on his talent and him fighting the best even at an older age!!!

                20 title MW denfense
that was impressive that problem people didnt notice him intell he beaten Tito. and they were underestimating Hopkins alot.

Hopkins is one of a kind fighter. the 20 guys he defended his title for so long is no question about how good he is even.

The problem with many people they only know the stars of boxing and not the boxer because in certain weightclass there are many competitive boxers that even the average boxing fans in this website dont know about there are many contender who are pretty good. But as long as they dont have good promoter there spotlight is limited.

Well any boxing real boxing observer knows Hopkins won that bout, even at the age of 43.

Prime v Prime, imo, Hopkins would again knockdown Joe, but Joe would stay down

he'll be missed when he's gone. There wont be another middleweight like him for at least another 20 years, or maybe never. He's one of a kind!
