It doesn't prove I'm wrong just because Ali won after he came back. It only shows how Great he truly was. If I'm wrong, then Ali is wrong and so are many other Writers, Boxers, Trainers, etc. that say the same thing.
Ali was not the same when he came back.
It's one thing to go by all of them since you don't have to, maybe they are all wrong, but that is why we have footage.
Watch the FIGHTS and see if there is a difference and get back to me. Then also go over the history of the sport and see what happens most of the time when a fighter has a long layoff.
Note: Sugar Ray Robinson still had some great wins after his prime but that doesn't mean he was the same fighter at his best.Last edited by Benny Leonard; 04-06-2009, 03:27 PM.

lmao! I dont understand how Ali fans can seriously sit there and say "I dont think Ali would have problems with Marciano." When Ali, himself said that he would be the most trouble. The video is definate proof of that. Whats with the denial?
i just dont get it.

All fighters say things that they cant backup or prove. In every fight they both say they are going to win, but only one of them is right.
Ali didnt explain why exactly Marciano would give him trouble other than he would be hard to KO, and he is very awkward.
IMO Ali would be way too fast for Marciano.

So what? They never fought. So how can we say anything.
If Ali himself said that he would have problems then how can you say he wont? Your not Ali, so how would you know? Ali said he would, thats what you have to go by. Its what he said.
Its ok to have love for your favorite fighter or fighters you respect. However, when you go into denial after he, himself has said something.... wow, there is a problem there.
