Floyd most definitely AIN'T the man if Pac wins. If Pac beats Hatton, he is the man. he will have beaten the best at 140, Floyd hasn't beat the best at any weight class since 130. Pac will be #1 PFP, beaten better comp, come up higher in weight, and sells more tix. Not to mention has a much more exciting style than Floyd.

well floyd is still retired so pac is the man. as soon as floyd unretires, it will be a toss up as to who is the p4p #1

I hear what you're saying but for the reasons above (especially competition over the last 5-7 years) Manny should be rankeed higher PFP than Floyd. If Manny wins he will have actually beaten the best fighter in a division. Floyd never did (since 135).

obviously pac's resume is better than floyd's; but if floyd got to fight morales, mab and jmm at 130, i think he beats them too.

Very good point and I never thought about that eventhough it has been clearly said in the past by Mayweather that he won't fight Cotto because of Arum. That takes away the only excuse from Mayweather on why not fighting Cotto??

I also saw Mayweather I think it was on ESPN before he had retire saying that if Cotto wanted to fight him, all Cotto needed to do is to call him and they could set the fight up between them. Obviously Mayweather knew that Cotto was, and still is, under contract with Arum and at that point it was impossible for Cotto to do that, so for me, it was a bluff from Mayweather and know if Mayweather does fight Pacquiao before Cotto it would confirm what a lot of people have been saying for years. "MAYWEATHER IS DUCKING COTTO".

Obviously this is only suppositions becasue we don't know if Mayweather will be back and it might be Arum who is using Mayweathers name to bluff, himself to get better deals with future Pacquiao oponents.

However if Mayweather comes back and fight a 137 or 140 lbs boxers instead of fighting a winner between Clottey-Cotto or even a Mosley it would be more of the same from "Chicken Mayweather". I would not criticize him for having a easy tune up fight in June before a tough fight especially after the inactivity. But he should do it with a welter weight not a 137 or a 140 pounder.

Very good points touched between you an Walt Liquor but it is precisely because WE THINK PBF would beat the top guys in the division after 135, but we DONT KNOW because Mayweather always avoided the best on those divisions, is why Pacquiao should be the top P4P even if Mayweather comes back and beats a guy like JMM. Until Mayweather comes back and beats a Paquiao, Cotto or a Mosley there's no way that he would be on my #1 P4P list. This is off couse if Paquiao beats Hatton.

Hatton was calling out JMM last week, but I'm sure he's focussed on Pac.

I agree it'll be an amazing event and I expect it to be a fantastic fight. Can't wait.

Floyd would be ranked lower simply because of his inactivity since Dec 2007. But he'd be favourite to beat Pac if they fought.
