However if Mayweather comes back and fight a 137 or 140 lbs boxers instead of fighting a winner between Clottey-Cotto or even a Mosley it would be more of the same from "Chicken Mayweather". I would not criticize him for having a easy tune up fight in June before a tough fight especially after the inactivity. But he should do it with a welter weight not a 137 or a 140 pounder.

He should fight Pac at 140 (not at catchweight or 147) and Cotto at 147. Which order he fights them in doesn't matter. The Pac fight would make more money so I wouldn't blame him for taking that fight first as long as he fights both fighters.

I agree with you that PBF will make more money against Pacman tha Cotto at this point, but I do think that for PBF with the inactivity and years that has passed it would be more difficult for him to fight at 140 and keep in mind that Pacquiao step into the ring against De La Hoya at 148 1/2 which I think would be easier for Pacman to move up again rather than Floyd to move down. The winner of that fight should fight Cotto, if Cotto continues to win.

I just wouldn't like to see PBF fight a 135 pound fighter (moving up to 147) having so many good and legit 147 fighter ready and willing to fight him. He could probably have a tune up fight against a Collazo or even a Quintana and then look for Pacman or Cotto.

But once again this is only suposicions because we still haven't heard a word from PBF, and until i don't see him in a ring, we will only be creating probably false expectation and hyping more a guy that's has retired and never faced a true top gun #1 fighter of the division in 6 years.

Roach thinks that 140lb is Pac's highest peak weight, and I don't see why a natural 140 pounder should fight Pac at a higher weight, where Pac is almost certainly going to be less competitive.
