stick to what you know which ain't much. duran had no answer for a fighter like floyd, who would out think duran in the ring.

floyd by comfortable UD like 9-3. if duran shows up out of shape he gets tkoed around 8.

If you had any idea of what you were talking about, you might know that Estaban De Jesus was at least as good as Castillo. Try checking his record before you post this bull****.

WTF!? People seriously think that Duran would beat Floyd?

Did any of you that chose that option even watch the Leonard-Duran fight? Im not saying Floyd is Leonard but styles match up the same. Floyd-Duran fight would be the same result as Leonard-Duran and everyone will accuse Floyd of the same thing they accused Leonard.

      Sweet Science a.k.a Running.

The only chance Duran would have @ lightweight is if Floyd broke his hand or injury his shoulder.

Floyd would win this fight 8 rounds to 4. @ lightweight.

Floyd was too much at lightweight

you mean Duran-SRL 1...Duran won that fight.

True but they mostly fought against the ropes or in corners, where Duran brawled with Leonard to a unanimous decision.

When have you seen Floyd in that situation and lose........... never.

Duran beat Leonard the first time and 147 wasn't even his best weight. If he could beat the bigger, stronger and equally as fast Leonard, he would beat Floyd.

Thats not even a comparison in my opinion. Duran was 10x the fighter Castillo was.

Why did he win that fight?
He won that Fight because SRL decided he wanted to sit and trade with duran all night instead of box and frustrate him like he did in the 2nd fight.

Floyd would have never sit there and traded with duran all night like SRL did in the first fight..
therefore duran would have never beat floyd the same way he beat SRL in the first fight.

                    Ask yourself a question

                    1. Who is a more skilled technical Boxer: Floyd or SRL
                    2. Who is a better defensive fighter: Floyd or SRL
                    3. Who is faster: Floyd or SRL
                    4. Who is more willing to trade with a slugger: Floyd or SRL

                    SRL was a Boxer/Puncher
Floyd is a Boxer/ Counter Puncher

Key to Mayweather's defense is the fact that he is always moving as well as the rhythm, speed and smoothness of his movements, this is what makes this defense effective.

All the while his opponent is punching.
                    Floyd is
                    • rolling,
                    • slipping,
                    • pivoting at the waist,
                    • feinting,
                    • bobbing and weaving,
                    • constantly displaying various ‘modes’ of movement .

Changes of speed and direction, pivoting and spinning, dipping, rocking, backpedaling, sidestepping, feinting, weaving, side-slipping, angles all are part of Floyd's repertoire.

                    1. the rhythm of offensive motion
                    2. the rhythm of defensive motion.

There are usually two different overall rhythmic forms, what I call the set-up rhythm
(preparing to punch or waiting to counterpunch, depending on the style of the boxer)
the rhythm of offensive motion and the rhythm of defensive motion.

However Floyd, like many great boxers varies these rhythms in subtle ways that are difficult for opponents to time, and he can seamlessly flow from one rhythmic form to the next without any break in the forms. Usually the opponent is not even aware that the transition has occurred until it is too late.

                    Now ask yourself a question?

                    Compare SRL and Floyd Mayweather

Who do you think would more then likely give Duran more opportunities to be in a war with Duran?
                    SRL or Floyd.

My point exactly. JLC was a poor man's version of JCC. Duran >JCC imo.
