for the Margarito fight and sharpened his defense, Cotto would have won that fight easily even if Margarito used plaster or not IMO. His vulnerability to those uppercuts was very frustrating to see. It would be interesting to see how Mayweather Sr can change Cotto if he ever trains him, I think Cotto would be unstoppable. Evangelista is not the best trainer out there, given the fact that he didn't even bother to check on Margarito's handwrapping. Cotto's defense is very poor and he should switch to a better trainer while he's still young.

I think Daniel Santos and Paul Williams can answer that for you. As for Mosley, he kept Marg under 30 punches per rounnd regardless of him using plaster or not.

Well styles make fights of course and no one can say for sure how long Marg has been loading so. Cotto has a style to beat Mosley and Marg doesnt. Mosley has a style to beat Marg and Cotto, well its hard to say now given the results what may have happened. Santos has one-punch-knockout-power which is why he was able to wobble marg twice..And Paul is an oaktree with alien arms..lol.

Yeah youre entirely right..But when you have all those factors i mentioned against a guy like Cotto, imo its a logistical nightmare for him. Good game plan or not. Styles styles styles.

I agree but I think more realistically he's gonna go with someone else. I wouldn't be surprised if Roach is in his corner at some point, for a fight or two.
