When Oscar and his team says it = its only to hype up the fight
When Pac and Freddie talks about their chances = they shouldnt have taken advantage of poor Oscar going down 7 pounds.
    What did I say?
I said Oscar is responsible. Go read again.

However, that doesn't take away from what was going on and what version of Oscar showed up...and that Freddie's words proved right and he was able to back them up with Facts using examples from History. It's not his fault most people don't remember history.

Of course Freddie doubts himself...he is human after all. But it is doubt that will help you go over all the details over and over much more than an over-confident person.

His doubts were based on what if Oscar can make the weight properly and still have the tools to take Pac out. People do still remember the best version of a fighter and sometimes that Old Fighter can give one last great performance.
Freddie's confidence boosted after seeing Oscar at the weigh-in. The other key was seeing how the first round went (according to Freddie). The first round would show where Oscar was.

Do you have the Kotsya fight? Kotsya stood face to face with Hatton allowing Hatton to come forward and maul him up. Pac isnt that type of fighter. Pac will stick and move, slide and dip, get out of the way.

Again Paulie is NO Pacquiao and Hatton is NO Marquez, I wish people would stop using that as an example. Marquez was successful in that he waited for Pac to fire and had the 1, 2, and your 45 (what Nacho said during the DLH fight). Marquez waits for Pac to throw and then he counters while Pac was off balance. Hatton NO WHERE near that type of fighter Marquez is and I think anyone on this forum can vowge that.
like i agree with you to some degree, i think pac just needs to stay in the middle of the ring and just keep turning and box.....but i do see a point in the fight unlike d. diaz or oscar...that hatton will catch pac real hard, and pac will have the mind set of then lets trade shots...which in this type of fight is not good for manny...but your right form the stand point that roach just wants him to box and move

He had the better fighter at that point in their career.imo.

        I cant argue with this.

Your nuts, Oscar was so weight drained in that fight that Zab Judah would've beatin him, no problem. I think Ricky stops Oscar in the same fashion as Manny did that night. Ricky would have thrown body shot after body shot. Oscars legs looked totaly shot.

lol there is barely even a half inch difference in height, and pac has the longer reach advantage.

              This are all speculations.
What Manny did is a "fact" though.with all due respect.
