Look man, You just said in this thread that the ring belt is not the undisputed belt in boxing.
And you are telling me i dont know anything about boxing?
That was basic knowledge and you didnt even know it.
My dude you just got owned in this thread, plus if you dont know about the ring belt ,than how in the hell can anybody expect you to know anything about boxing history.
Just own up too the fact you didnt know what you were talking about and moved on. I am not going to try and clown you for making a mistake. We all make mistakes. Just dont try to play it off when it is visable to everybody you dont know your history. Period.
Just leave it alone.

"The Man" of the division coincides with the "Lineal" champion of the division. However, due to sanctioning fees, vacating belts, organizations stripping titles, etc., The "lineal" champion does not always mean "undisputed".
For example:
Zab Judah was the undisputed Welterweight champion when he fought Carlos Baldomir.
When Carlos Baldomir beat Zab Judah, he should of became the undisputed Welterweight world champion, but because he didn't pay sanctioning fees to the IBF, Zab Judah retained the IBF title. As a result, Carlos Baldomir became the lineal Welterweight champion, which he passed down to Floyd when Floyd beat him.
The term "undisputed" in boxing is a literal and technical term and is not subjected to anyone, including The Ring.Last edited by deliveryman; 03-31-2009, 12:40 AM.Comment

Thank you very much..i can CLEARLY see that mayweathers resume far, FAR surpasses..Pac DID NOT BEAT ERIK MORALES...MANNY GOT BEAT..Considering Erik's shape in the rematch, the ass kicking Erik game manny, manny's gloves excuse, and the fact that Erik was winning in judges card up until the 6th ONLY A FOOL would give pac more credit then erik for his great efforts in that fight...The first barrera fight is the only match i give him credit for..MANNY LOST to jmm twice..and beating that version of hoya MEANS NOTHING.
What else do u have left? Solis Sanchez and the first Barrera fight..
You cant really say that for floyd now can you? Aside from that idiot gatti cant really say anything that negative..I know baldimor aint **** no way will i give ***** manny more credit for his wins against Erik or even Diaz then i would floyd against baldimor..Comment

haye didn't have the ibf.
kostya didn't have the wbo.
winky didn't have the wbo.
judah also didn't have the wbo.
calzaghe had all 4 but not all at the same time. think of it , i don't even think lennox had the wbo either. at the time he had all his belts , vitali and before him herbie was wbo champ.
i guess you can make a case for kostya , winky , judah and lennox because they had the ring/lineal title and the 3 majors wbc , wba and ibf.
it's all depends on when/if you consider the wbo a major belt. for the longest time the wbo was a meaningless belt used by european promoters for the most part for their fighters.
hell you can make a case for hamed being undisputed because he beat all the major title holders in his time frame. only strippings and org politics prevented him from being champ of all 4 belts at the same time.Comment
