see i don't mind counting the wbo but don't really know when.

i mean yeah it matters now but when did it start?

guys like hamed , barrera , the klitschkos and calzaghe really helped the wbo come to prominence.

i remember when the wbo had herbie hide as heavyweight champ during holyfield/bowe/lewis/tyson/moorer era. lol

and eamonn loughran as welterweight champ during the time whitaker/trinidad/quartey all had 147 belts.
Yep, absolutely. In definite terms, the 'undisputed' champion means all major titles. The only problem here is which are the major titles. The WBO is now getting recognition as a major belt from every division. It had been different in former years when the WBA, WBC and IBF were the major ones and WBO was slowly coming through.

Now, being undisputed is having all four. The WBC, WBA, IBF, and WBO. The Ring comes with that anyway so it's not really an issue.

In previous years having three of the major titles was enough for undisputed champion. Now though, it might still be the same and I think it is. But, it has to be the two major belts along with one of the other recent major belts.

Anyway, at least some people recognise the real meaning of undisputed, unlike some fools who think they are 'clowning' people with their terrible knowledge of anything apart from Mayweather.

      Lefty.

Even now come to think of it, I'm not sure if the WBO is mandatory, in order to be considered undisputed. I think it's like you already pointed out, any of the major 3 + the lineal.

those fights were close you nerd. it was not a robbery...

even those boxing "experts" say that it was not a robbery. they just scored it for jmm.

lets be fair here. jmm won more rounds, but those knock downs caused him both fights.

until pac loses, just shut up...

            pac accomplished more than floyd.

floyd is considered great because of his skills
pac is considered great because of who he beat

              amen.

i'll respect more any boxer that fight every top boxer in his division, even if he lose, than mayweather.

people talk about cotto fighting for vacant tittles but he's fighting everyone that is in his way (judah, mosley, margacheato, now clottey). he's not fighting some after his prime boxers or C class fighters ( bruseles, baldomir, gatti) bruseles LMAO. i'm from p.r and I know that he is a C class fighter.

for me Pac, mosley and cotto deserves more respect than mayweather.

i only respect the boxer that have the heart, pride and honor to fight the best and give all in the ring.
