Part of this has to do with the fact that plaster in your hands is something that to people is real. It is an obvious advantage for a fighter no matter what. That is why people have a harder time with Margarito. His cheating is a direct and tangible advantage.

Vargas took steroids to lose weight do to his strugle with losing it not to gain muscle.
