Why didn't Mayweather fight these fighters?

face it floyd nuthuggers, with all the so called accomplishments floyd achieved no one has him in their top ten atg list. people will always remember ali, frazier, leonard, hagler, hearns, tyson etc. and all those guys were warriors that fought all comers in their time. floyd will never be remembered with those names because people will remember he never faced the toughest challenges. HE RETIRED TOO EARLY and claimed he accomplished all he had to. he said he didn't need to prove anything else but the critics and boxing writers know he avoided margarito, cotto, and mosley at ww. thats what he will be remembered for more.

Margarito? Is Margarito even relevant at this point? The second Floyd beats Mosley, Mosley goes back to being "old", "over the hill" and "shot". Just like Oscar, yet people were singing a different tune prior to the fight.

Plus, Floyd tried to fight Shane, but Shane had a toothache, AND when it was released that Floyd was going after Shane, he was criticized for it on this, claiming Shane was too old. Ironically enough, 2 years later, people are calling for the fight. It's absolutely hilarious.

I didn't know beating the undisputed WW champion and the lineal WW champion in back to back fights, wasn't "a real welterweight challenger".

You better pray that a fight between Cotto and Mayweather doesn't happen, because you're going to be trying to find all the excuses in the world when Cotto gets schooled.

However, I do think Mosley would take the fight now given his divorce but if Floyd wins, Mosley is past his prime anyway.

And,

Even if Arum refused to put Cotto in there with Floyd (which I think was the original problem), Cotto could demand Arum to do so and if not, no matter what, Cotto should be leaving Arum when his contract is up.

I like Cotto and I think he would take the fight. He deserves the fight more than anyone else.

For Floyd: who knows what he is up to or what condition he is in as far as fighting shape both mentally and physically.
