Why didn't Mayweather fight these fighters?

I simply pointed out the fact that Cotto is fighting all the best names in the welterweight division. Mayweather never once did that, this is why we'll never know his true and full potential.. while when Cotto's career is done, we'll know just exactly how good or bad he was since he pretty much fought everybody.

The Welterweight division is floyd's 4th Division
compare to Cotto...where it is his 2nd Division

Let's have Cotto moved up to Middle Weight which would be his 4th Division and have him become the lineal And Undisputed champion of that division.

Let's Have him Fight Pavlik, Abraham, Strum,Wright, and Williams

I didn't know beating the undisputed WW champion and the lineal WW champion in back to back fights, wasn't "a real welterweight challenger".

You better pray that a fight between Cotto and Mayweather doesn't happen, because you're going to be trying to find all the excuses in the world when Cotto gets schooled.
