ANd is still ducking fighters and instead of Mayweather worryng about a true boxing legacy NOT this CRAPPY Pampered legacy. Put it at 140 and up he did nothing but worry about making money and picked his fights very carefully. Like i said props on the money but **** him worst #1 P4P fighter ever and very overrated from 140 and up.
He didn't duck Tszyu and I'm a fan of Tszyu.

Tszyu was on Showtime and Floyd was on HBO. Gatti was the easiest path to the title at 140 and brought in Money and Popularity. Gatti was on HBO.

For Tszyu, Hatton was his path to Money and I think Ricky was his mandatory.

The talk was that if both got past their opponents, Floyd and Kostya would meet up in a joint venture of the two networks for a PPV fight.
Only a PPV fight could bring the two together since they were on different networks.

Tszyu lost and Floyd offered the fight to Hatton. Hatton turned him down Twice. Floyd moved up.

He is not overrated at 140 because Hatton turned him down twice while he {Hatton} was Champion. And then, later on, he fights Hatton and knocks him out.
Tszyu even said in an interview after his defeat on a possible comeback that if he wanted, he could call Floyd up and get a fight with him. Floyd was always open and willing.

Instead of Worrying bout Mayweather legacy Cotto fans needs to worry about Cotto's...
        1. When is Cotto going to proved to the world that he is a great fighter?
        2. when is he going to be a undisputed champion of a division?
        3. When is he going to be pound for pound # 1 in boxing for a 3 year period?
        4. when is he going to moved up 5 weight classes ?
        5. When is he going to be undisputed champion in 3 Divisions?
        6. When is he going to beat 2 top 10 undefeated pound 4 pound fighters?
        7. When is he going to have 8 title defense in one division?
        8. When is he going to Fight Paul Williams
        9. When is he going to actually win a title?
        10. When is he going to stop fighting for vacant titles?
        11. When is he going to improved his defense?
        12. When is he going to beat Margarito?
        13. When is he going to learn how to stop upper cuts and straight right hands
        14. When is he going to prove that he is hall of fame worthy...
        15. When is he going to take a fight in which he is not ready and not favored?

I never Hear Cotto fans demanding Cotto go improve his legacy..why it that??? By they are up night and day worrying about Mayweather's legacy
The bulk of what you said could be considered as right... easily, but what you said about Margarito was kinda wrong... nobody can really use that as an example because of what speculation has happened. There is no proof he cheated against Cotto... just assumptions, however it is hard to believe that he would attempt to use them against Mosley and not Cotto... which was supposed to be a harder fight.

Other than that you got a good argument on the bulk of it...

At one time or another or another all these fights could of been but weren't, and some nearly were.

Interesting very interesting!! that Mayweather never fought none of these!
              Thats my opinion.

It was posted on Kostya Tszyu's website. It was after the Hatton loss and they were discussing if he would come back. I think it may have been within a year after the fight.

I used to post on Tszyu's website as well but I haven't done it in a while and forgot my password

Tszyu is one of my favorite fighters and I always liked Floyd for giving respect to Kostya.

cotto fought plenty of mayweather leftovers and also Cotto was brought along with the same promoter.

he didn't accept mayweather's challenge at 140, never fought hatton at 140, never fought tszyu at 140, didn't rematch torres or corley at 140. never fought Pwill at147. etc...

true but he never quit because another boxer forced his manhood on him

How is Cotto a *****? R U SERIOUS!!!!!! Cotto fought what like 4 of mayweathers so called left overs and Cotto knocked them out unlike mayweather who couldnt ko them. Cotto always said who ever they put in front of him, he will fight. Cotto fought 4 undefeated fighters in lightweight unlike mayweather who fought 1, Diego Corrales. Mayweather did quit, he retired at his prime!!!!!! NO HEART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
