call me crazy but how is capping weight going to make any of these guys more skilled? You will just be moving the two most dominant boxers (no matter how you feel about their entertainment value) into a division with a bunch of fat guys. You'd be creating another division with more belts.

they need to end the cruiserweight division, rocky marciano was only like 180-190lbs. I think there are plenty of cruisers that would do great at heavy. The heavyweight division has become a freak show, fighters average 6ft 6in and 270lbs, its crazy.

Agreed the last thing Boxing needs is another division with 4 more champions. The Cruiserweight divison needs to be eliminated. Haye,Adamek,Cunningham,Flores,Chambers,Arreola,Pov etkin and Olafalibi all could make exciting matches. If the casual fan (who has no idea about divisions anyways) was to see Adamek vs Cunningham and it was called a Heavyweight fight the publics perception would change. Dempsey,Louis,Marciano all were under 200 lb hell even Ali would be considered small by todays standards. Less divisons and champions the better

So you think that a man 210 6ft gets in the ring with a equal skilled man that is 6ft9 257lbs for exp is considered fair by standards? I respect your opinion if thats the case...But lets put Manny Pacquiao at 140 in with Tomaz Adamek at 187lbs! this is the same weight differance Manny being 5ft61/2in Adamaek being 6ft1in...this is the same height difference.. Why not! Yeah ok. So it is cool if the HWs do it.....Ray Charles can see this!!!

I don't think such a division would do very well, about 90% of the fights would be between obese guys, muscleheads (Brock Lesnar type) or Valuev-esque tall guys, the quality would be shaky at best, with most fights looking like they are in slow motion.

i think its main problem is the bad matchups and the klits sisters being involved in the bad fights.....and they ask for these bad fights which makes it worse
