Should there be a Super Heavyweight division in pro boxing?

This weight class only exists in amateur boxing. Does anyone else think it should also a exist in pro boxing? We have freaks of nature like Valuev vastly outweighing most other fighters, which to me doesn't seem fair. Would it be better if these guys were to have their own weight class? If so, what do you think should be the max weight limit for heavyweight?

Possibly. I don't see it as being very fair when one guy outweighs another by 100lbs or so. They should be forced to boil down.

Too many weightclasses already IMO. At heavyweight there has always been great differences in height and weight.

No more weight classes please. Heavyweight is fine the way it is.

No, because Holyfield (a shot 46 year old version) already proved that Valuev's weight advantage is useless.

I actually agree with what you guys are saying, there are definitely too many weight classes already. Still, it's interesting to know everyone's thoughts on it. On the other hand, Valuev has barely any skills. He dominates based mainly on the fact that he's a massive bastard. Just doesn't seem right.

Not having a go at Valuev, btw. No offense to him.

I hope he fights one of the K bros. sometime. Why hasn't a fight been made with Wlad or Vitali?

Vitali is already looking past Gomez and says that he wants Valuev next. Expect that fight this summer (barring injury of course).
