Putting a 240lbs lid on H/W would improve the division, but really the only thing to save it will be when the sisters retire.

A super Heavyweight division sounds like a good idea.

I think if they were to have a Super Heavyweight Division in all sanctioning bodies it will either stop or fix the Heavyweight division by forcing fighters to either lose weight or the chance to move up to challenge the Supers. I actually made a thread about this a while back. I suggested putting a 235 limit to the hw division. I think that will improve the division quite a bit.

It's just that fights involving the Klitschko brothers are not competitive. Once it becomes apparent after 5-7 rounds of mostly jabs that this is either going to end in at late stoppage or and easy ud for the Wlad or Vitali, the element of surprise is gone and with it goes enthusiasm.....we just need better fighter is all I think.

I agree with all of the above. Good thread, deserves green. I think the superHW would even be exciting because we would know what to expect. With the HW we would get better fights fo sho.

they need to end the cruiserweight division, rocky marciano was only like 180-190lbs. I think there are plenty of cruisers that would do great at heavy. The heavyweight division has become a freak show, fighters average 6ft 6in and 270lbs, its crazy.

How about a heavyweight limit of 265lbs. Just like the *cough* UFC.
